The Mayan (מעין) elders did not prophesy that everything will come to an end in AD 2012. The Mayan elders are with prophesy that this is a time of transition, change or morphing from one world age into another; an age of transformation[1] (תחלף).

Age of Transformation

The message Mayan prophets give concerns our making a choice of how we enter the future ahead; the age of transformation. Our moving through with either resistance or acceptance will determine whether the transition will happen with cataclysmic changes or gradual peace and tranquility, a dual prophecy based upon which choice is made.

The age of transformation is part of a continuous process of which the transition occurs on the cusp between two ages; the 5th/5 Mayan world ages ending December 21, AD 2012 and the beginning of the next cycle of 5 World Ages to start the cyclic process all over again the very next day with the next 1st/5 World Ages. Instead of being a linear end-point, this cycle that is closing is naturally followed by the start of a new cycle.

The AD 2012 date indeed marks the completion of this World Age Cycle. Instead of something to fear, we can understand the 2012 prophecy as signalling us that we need to awaken and realize that these times on earth are auspicious; we are living in land-mark times in the history of our planet. We are collectively in a cross-roads moment that is calling out to us to participate in our fullest capacity. We are each being summoned to bring our inspiration and empowerment to the fore.[2]

We are living today after the end of the Mayan end times, the end of a Galactic or Great Day or time period spanning thousands of years. One Galactic or Great day of 25,625 years is divided into five cycles of 5,125 years of which the last cycle or period began in BC AYN 3113 and concludes on the winter solstice of AD 2012.

Some report the Age/Sun/Creation-cycle according to the Aztec 5th World Age in Aztec Mythology is called Nahui-Ollin;[3] Nahuatl: "sun/age/creation-earthquake." The 5 World Ages/Suns according to the Aztec must be synchronized with the I Ching 4 Worlds of the 260 Tzolkin of the Mayans and modified by the The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness[4] for the true correct order as follows:

  • 1st/5 Sun/Age/Creation-cycle Nahui-Ehecatl; "sun wind" was recalled as "Tzoncuztique; "Golden Age," also called the world of creation,[5] brought to an end by the Wind (3 Kan-65th/260) Serpent and whose inhabitants were transformed into monkeys (3 Chuen-52nd/260). This world was destroyed by hurricanes of the Wind Serpent (Azure Dragon) in the 1st/5 destruction-cycle periods after which the next is,
  • 2nd/5 Sun/Age/Creation-cycle Nahui-Atl (נחוי-אטל); "sun water" whose inhabitants were black-headed people (SAG.GIG.GA: שג-גיג-גא) - This world was flooded (3 Muluc-130th/260) turning the inhabitants into night-fish (3 Akbal-104th/260). A couple escaped but were transformed into dogs (dog-fish) in the 2nd/5 destruction-cycle periods after which the next is,
  • 3rd/5 Sun/Age/Creation-cycle Nahui-Ocelotl (נחוי); "sun jaguar" whose inhabitants were white-haired giants in a place called Aztlan (אזת-לן); Nahuatl: "white place" and were devoured by jaguars (3 Ix-195th/260) turning the inhabitants into turkeys (3 Men-158th/260) in the 3rd/5 destruction-cycle periods after which the next is,
  • 4th/5 Sun/Age/Creation-cycle Nahui-Ollin (נחוי-עללין); "sun earthquake" (Caban) in which the Chichimec tribes, alias the Aztecs, arrived; and the Fourth Sun (3 Manic-208th/260), the Aztec era, begins in the 4th/5 destruction-cycle periods after which the next is,
  • 5th/5 Sun/Age/Creation-cycle Nahui-Quiahuitl (נחוי כוח-עתל); "sun rain" whose inhabitants were red-haired people destroyed by rain of fire (3 Cauac-260th/260) of which only birds survived (or inhabitants survived by becoming birds; כוח, cocks, 3 Cauac-260th/260). The inhabitants of this world exist until the winter equinox of AD 2012 and the the 5th/5 destruction-cycle periods ends the 5 Sun/Age/Creation-periods and the 1st/5 periods starts all over again a new creation cycle again.

Great Day or Year

The Great Year or Day is an ancient cosmological conception, found in different cultures, which acquired new interpretations with the development of astronomical knowledge. In the Western tradition Plato has been the main source for the idea, so it was also frequently called the Platonic year. Nearly two centuries after his time Hipparchus established the period of equinox precession, a finding which took the same name and provided a value for it. Currently one precession cycle is estimated to be about 25,765 years. The same is the product of 12 Astrological Ages. AD 2012 is considered the completion of the approximate 26,000 year precession of the equinoxes cycle.

2 Peter 3:12 talks about "the coming of the day of God" in which the day of God refers to the Great Year of Day, the platonic year or equinoctial cycle lasting 25,920 mathematical years, sometimes referred to by the ancients as the great…day, as in the great (הגדול) and dreadful (והנורא) day (יום) of Malachi 4:5.

Astrological Ages

An astrological age is a time period which astrology postulates parallels major changes in the development of Earth's inhabitants, particularly relating to culture, society and politics. There are twelve astrological ages corresponding to the twelve zodiacal signs in western astrology. At the completion of one cycle of 12 astrological ages, the cycle repeats itself. Astrological ages occur because of a phenomenon known as the precession of the equinoxes. One complete period of this precession is called a Great Year or Day of 25,920 years; the product of 12 Astrological ages figured mathematically of 2160 years each which was the ancient Sumerians figure.

28 Xiu Mansions

The Chinese further refined the 5 divisions of the Great Year of Day of the Lord into 28 heavenly Xiu (宿) mansions or Lunar mansions as part of the Chinese constellations system.

The 5 divisions for the Chinese are the Four Symbols () plus the center () or the 4 creatures as follows:

plus the center 5th creature:

Mayan Underworlds

The 5 World Ages are part of a greater Mayan learning that consist of the Mayan Underworlds encompassing all of the evolutionary cycle of Creation beginning with the Cellular Underworld and concluding with the Unity of the last days in the 9th/9 underworlds; Universal Underworld whose end coincides with the end of the 5th/5 World Ages and the beginning of the next 1st/5 World Ages; the age of transformation.

Semiotics and the Age of Transformation

At the very least, semiotics is a good idea. Trying to understand how humans make sense of their lives, their environment, and the ways in which they interact with, and influence each other through signs is a fundamental endeavor. Semiotics, under any other name, is bound to have emerged when early humans evolved the cognitive capacity to encompass more than a single point of view (perspective) and represent others as a source of signs, and discriminated between intentional and non-intentional signs with considerable adaptive consequences. Now known as TOM (Theory of Mind) in evolutionary and developmental psychology, this competence is double-edged as all adaptations are: it enhanced the deliberate sharing of information toward cooperation and enabled us to guess and interpret each other’s agenda; but it also drove humans to construe natural phenomena as intentional agencies and elaborate cosmologies in the form of conspiracy theories whose consequences were not always benign.

The urge to understand the nature and range of signs is all the more pressing at a time when quantitative changes in representation and communication technologies are creating qualitative transformations in what it means to be human.Notwithstanding the despondent philosophers that construe science as a mere succession of paradigms which cancel each other as time goes on, scientific knowledge has proven itself to be cumulative even if some models and theories had to be discarded along the way.

As we enter the age of transformation and witness the emergence of a new epistemological frontier, a time when research becomes data intensive, new methods of inquiry are called for.

A recent book called the Forth Paradigm illustrates some of these paradigms with the first four parts dealing successively with “earth and environment," (environment science) “health and wellbeing,” (health care) “scientific infrastructure,” and “scholarly communication” (communication of knowledge) centered around e-science's means of monitoring and recording processes in these domains.[6]

Semiotics is the study of signs and sign processes (semiosis), indication, designation, likeness, analogy, metaphor, symbolism, signification, and communication.

Semiotics is often divided into 3 branches:

  • Semantics: Relation between signs and the things to which they refer; their denotata, or meaning
  • Syntactics: Relations among signs in formal structures
  • Pragmatics: Relation between signs and the effects they have on the people who use them

The term, which was spelled semeiotics, derives out of the Greek σημειωτικός: sēmeiōtikos; "observant of signs" (σημεῖον: sēmeion; "a sign, a mark" and it was first used in English by Henry Stubbes in AD 1670, in a very precise sense to denote the branch of medical science relating to the interpretation of signs. John Locke used the terms semeiotike and semeiotics in Book 4, Chapter 21 of An Essay Concerning Human Understanding in AD 1690. Here he explains how science can be divided into 3 parts: All that can fall within the compass of human understanding, being either,

  • first, the nature of things, as they are in themselves, their relations, and their manner of operation: or,
  • secondly, that which man himself ought to do, as a rational and voluntary agent, for the attainment of any end, especially happiness: or,
  • thirdly, the ways and means whereby the knowledge of both the one and the other of these is attained and communicated.
Semiotics of Social Networking

Finally we have semiotics of social networking in the age of transformation divided into 3 parts:

  • Human-Social interacting.
    • Sign as Human: "the form which the sign takes (not necessarily material, though usually interpreted as such" with a Photo of Human as the Sign/Human.
  • Machine-Computers are created by humans and now have social applications.
    • Object as Machine: "something beyond the sign to which it refers (a referent)" with the Computer, digital file and social media as the Object/Machine.
  • Tag-Picture/information tagging on social networks “has changed the traditional online communication process.”
    • Interpretant as Tag: "not an interpreter but instead the sense made of the sign" with Names, places, dates as the Interpretanat/Tag.

Age of Transformation as the end of the Information Age

Just as the information age and the Galactic Underworld succeeded the industrial age and the Planetary Underworld so to the information age has a successor. In the information age because of the the introduction of the personal computer what most entrepreneurs focused on was becoming an “expert” – the one that had the most information, data and knowledge on a particular subject. You had to seek out the expert, because the person with the most information had the advantage.

When Yahoo, Google and WordPress were created the landscape on the Internet completely shifted. Up to this point, for the entire history of our world, having access to information was limited and controlled. And suddenly, this limitation had been removed. People began feeling more overwhelmed with information than ever before. Suddenly, all of this information wasn’t such a great thing. There was too much of it.

It’s not information that people want to buy. The Internet has made it so that you can easily go out and find the answer to almost any question you could possibly ask. Instantly. And for free, almost without exception. People no longer just buy information – what they want is transformation. The way that you compete in the Transformation Age is recognizing that what people want is no longer based on information and data. In the Transformation Age, what people want is trust, simplicity and results (the transformation). The Transformation Age is the Age of Transformation.

The way you step into the Transformation Age is to start focusing your entire business on identifying and providing the transformation that your market is really after. You need to become the Trusted Authority in delivering that transformation to your market, and focus on simplicity – because that’s what people are looking for in today’s environment.[7]

Three Enclosures

Along with the concept of 5 Worlds Ages or heavenly divisions is the concept of 3; the Three Enclosures SanYuan (); literally: "3 walls" are as follows:

The 3 enclosures or walls are the “3[9] celestial zones of the heavens;” the southern, middle; ecliptic and northern zones. This is an example of the “3 beings or powers” SanCai ()[10] in history and why 3 is the number of celestial zones (העב-ען).

Rule of Three

The number 3 has a tremendous amount of natural strength in it and factors heavily into history and every area of life. For example, think of any organized religion or spiritual philosophy, and you’ll find a lot of key concepts organized into sets of 3. The Holy Trinity of Christianity, the 3 Patriarchs of Judaism, the 3 Jewels of Buddhism, and the 3 Dossas of Ayurveda.

The number 3 is a very effective number when it comes to telling stories that are simple and memorable. The Rule Of Three is simply breaking down whatever your message is into 3 specific components so that your listener or audience is easily able to process and recall those 3 things.

Steve Jobs learned this incredibly powerful strategy many years ago, and has been applying it ever since. When you look at almost any of his most powerful presentations, you’ll find that he’s constantly presenting ideas and information in groups of 3.[7] Steve Jobs was a significant figure in the information age and he realized the coming of the transformation age.

Age of Transformation and God's Kingdom

God's Kingdom starts after 2012 as "I have already proclaimed that January 13, 2013 will be a "Foundation Day". That day will be the actual beginning and birth of God's kingdom. An unavoidable time is upon us today where we must invest ourselves... All the good spirits in the spirit world are mobilized and are already moving forward, one step ahead of you." - Sun Myung Moon[11]

Reverend Moon Prophesied January 13, 2013 would be 'Foundation Day' for an Era of Peace. Rev. Moon also proclaimed that the current time period of world history is “the final stage, in which humanity should follow the path of living for the sake of others.”[12]

If you view the flow of history through eyes that focus on God’s providence, you can see that the changes of the times can be broadly classified into 3 stages as follows:

  • First is the “era of worldly matters,” () in other words, a time when materialism took precedence.
  • Next came the “era of human affairs,” () a humanistic era when peoples’ knowledge and emotions took precedence in and dominated the world.
  • The “era of heavenly affairs” () is the final stage, in which human beings should follow the path of living for the sake of others.

The Age of Transformation involves a trusted authority who simplifies and brings results; the actual transformation that results in an heavenly affairs consummation, a providence that will be carried out according to the heavenly law and the heavenly way.
